We were founded back in 2012 with a simple, environmentally-focused mission: to blend science and creativity to tell a new, more human, story of sustainability. We create connections and deliver communications that drive positive impact and change behaviours – always informed by expert understanding and the communities we work with.

Our team brings together scientists and creatives in equal measure – united by our deep knowledge of, and commitment to, the causes we work with. What we do


Mindfully Wired is unique in being a cause-and-effect comms agency. This means that the work we deliver – our signature mix of science and creativity delivered across policy, stakeholder engagement, campaigns and advocacy, branding, design and events – is designed to shape and change the world in the UK and beyond.

We know the world of marine sustainability inside out. Our history has been shaped by working where people and our ocean connect – the meeting points between government, research, campaigns and communities. Science & Policy

Our Science and Policy team works to bridge the gap between science, policy, industry, and the wider world. Working with our clients in government, industry and the charity sector, we drive for positive, evidence-led change via compelling communications. We render complex issues, language, and ideas into beautifully designed and well-written outputs to help our clients share their stories with their audiences, and with the broader public. From drafting reports to delivering workshops, our subject-specific knowledge and communications experience ensures we deliver the outcomes you need.

Campaigns & Advocacy

The Campaigns and Advocacy team is a diverse bunch of thinkers, writers, planners and doers, united by a genuine love of what we do and how it can change the world for the better. So we partner with change-makers – charities, NGOs, academia and campaigning groups – bringing our creativity and smart thinking to consumer-facing marketing and pioneering business and stakeholder initiatives.

While our clients’ challenges can be complex – across conservation, food marketing and climate to name a few – their solutions can be game-changing for society. So we focus on developing thought-provoking, ‘audience-first’ campaigns that are rooted in real-life insights and deliver measurable change. These campaigns are driven by our curiosity to understand both the worlds in which our clients operate and the wider world around us to earn attention for the causes that really matter.

From safety at sea to a sustainable seafood future and the blue economy, we work wherever we’re needed. But however the story is told, our campaigns drive conversations, behaviour change, advocacy, awareness and engagement – and ultimately help shape a better world.

Research & Innovation

Our Research and Innovation team combines environmental and social science expertise with communications know-how to deliver tangible outcomes for people and planet. As project partners to institutes at the forefront of the UK and European policy and decision-making space, we lead the engagement activities of diverse projects centred on sustainability, biodiversity and systems thinking. Working strategically, we develop insightful, creative communications that engage key stakeholders, while delivering research impact on the ground – and on the water.
