Sharing vital information on safety at sea for fishermen (and their loved ones) all over the UK
Commercial fishing remains one of the most dangerous occupations in the UK with 47 fatalities recorded over the last 10 years due to instances of Man Overboard.
Born in 2020 in collaboration with the Home and Dry Fishing Safety Forum, this long-running campaign was set up with the goal of reducing the numbers of fatalities in commercial fishing to zero.
All communications are framed through the deep-rooted values that fishermen associate with home, family and community. It celebrates every role, looking at how skippers, crewmates, friends and family all look out for each others back. Home and Dry plays its part by enabling the sharing of knowledge by collating and sharing guidance, stories and advice online and off and through relevant industry partners.
Our campaigns have ranged from vessel stability, heartfelt hero films to influencer partnerships and animations on Man Overboard awareness.
