Connecting coastal communities
The Coastal Partnerships Network exists to bring together diverse stakeholders including local communities, authorities and agencies to share resources, address issues and facilitate communication for effective coastal management.
Mindfully Wired was initially brought on board to develop a communications strategy that today guides dialogue and the exchange of information and debate between Coastal Partnerships all across the UK. From national policy makers to local communities and member partnerships, the strategy acknowledges local nuances, uses accessible language and balanced advocacy to speak to the intrinsic values the coast presents to audiences across the UK.
In addition, we’ve delivered values-based communications training across the network, provided event delivery support to a Coastal Forum held in the Tower of London, and even seconded a member of staff to embed communications in the day-to-day of the CPN.
